Many people try achieving this in a way that is restrictive, unpleasant and miserable! Sounds kind of backwards huh? The "Feel Good Approach" take emphasis off of weight loss and shifts the focus to making healthy behavior changes. By focusing on other measures of health such as sleep, energy, digestion and mood, we can improve all aspects of health while feeling good in the process.   The feel good approach provides accountability, consistency and structure. Initial Consultation

60 Minutes

This hour long sessions start with a short mental and physical self-assessment where you will rank measures of health that have nothing to do with the scale. You will rate your stress levels, digestion, sleep quality, energy levels and more to get a broaded look at your current state of health. With a focus on feeling good and making healthy behavior changes, Lauren likes to use this to measure progress in ways that do not involve a scale. We will then take a comprehensive look at your lifestyle, preferences and goals while reviewing your medical and social history. By the end of this session, we will devise a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

 

Lifestyle Optimization Program

12 Week Program: 1 (60 MINUTE) + 6 (30 MINUTE) Sessions

Are you excelling at all areas of your life but still can't seem to get your nutrition "under control?" Do you work such long hours and have so many responsibilities, that your health and nutrition get put on the back burner?  Perhaps you suffer from mood swings, gut issues, anxiety, depression, cravings or low energy. In this 12-week program, we address the role nutrition plays in mental health, physical health and overall well being while focusing on using food as medicine to reduce your symptoms.  Together we will overcome obstacles and set goals in a quest to fuel our bodies and our minds in a way that feels good.

 

Intuitive Eating Program

Note: THIS IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM. If you have tried every diet program out there, feel hopeless, or know your relationship with food feels less than healthy, this is the program for you. This 90 day intuitive eating program is designed to help you reconnect with your body and cultivate self-respect, love and compassion. Intuitive eating is a dynamic mind-body integration of emotion, instinct and rational-thought. It is a PROCESS of honoring your health and well being by paying attention to the cues of your body and meeting both your physical and emotional needs. Throughout this program, we will review the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating, cultivating body awareness and a healthy relationship with food.

 

Athletic Performance Program

12 Week Program: 1 (60 MINUTE) + 6 (30 MINUTE) Session

Our bodies are machines that require high quality fuel in order to perform optimally. Proper nutrition is imperative for peak athletic performance. In this 12-week program, we will work together to create a customized plan geared toward your fitness goals. This program is designed for the athlete looking to improve sleep, recovery and performance.

 

The work I do with my clients is meant to enhance quality of life, improve health and reduce stress. I know that making time for doctors visits and other appointments can be challenging. For that reason, I offer hours outside the typical 9-5 and offer both in-person and virtual sessions via FaceTime or phone call.
